A crime a little close to home

The house opposite us was robbed earlier this evening. The assailants waited for the young couple to arrive and then attacked them in order to gain easy access to their home. This happened around 19:30. It was only later when a cop was asking us if we saw anything did we realize that the comment I had made to my wife about a badly parked car in our street belonged to the gang of robbers. I will now always take the time to take a photo of any suspicious car parked near my home. You just never know when it may help the police get a gang of violent criminals off the streets.
